Aircraft Features

The Gulfstream IVSP (Special Performance) is an administrative aircraft developed by the American company Gulfstream Aerospace on the basis of the Gulfstream IV administrative aircraft. In developing the aircraft, the designers managed to improve flight performance without increasing the weight characteristics of the aircraft.

The prototype took off on June 24, 1992. Unlike the standard Gulfstream IV, it had a redesigned wing, fuselage, tail and landing gear, which allowed for an increase in maximum takeoff and landing mass and increased flight range. Compared to the GIV, the Gulfstream IV-SP’s payload increased by 1,134 kg.

In 1992, the GIV-SP replaced the GIVe as the standard Gulfstream model. The new machine had a greater payload capacity and range.

Interior and cabin

The cabin has been slightly upgraded, allowing up to 19 passengers to be carried on board. The comfort conditions have remained consistently high: the cabin is equipped with elegant furniture, modern office and entertainment equipment.

The lounge is divided into three zones with individual microclimate control. The high ceiling and spacious lounge allow passengers to feel free. Offering maximum comfort on long-haul flights, each pair of seats transforms into a fully equipped sleeping area.

In some cases, you can use Jet Sharing or Empty Legs systems to reduce the final price. Simply put, Jet Sharing allows you to divide the total cost of renting an aircraft between all participants of the flight – it means that you do not have to pay for the entire aircraft, but for a specific seat. Therefore, it is often also called private jet charter.

As for Empty Legs, it is a system of return flights. That is, if a person orders a flight on a Gulfstream IVSP to a specific address, the plane will return empty. In fact, it returns to the airport of origin without passengers. As a rule, such flights have a specific departure date and a certain time interval. If it suits you, you can take a private flight with a discount of up to 70% of the usual cost of the flight. If you need a non-urgent flight, we recommend that you leave a request to our consultants and they will choose the best Empty Legs option for you, taking into account all your wishes. We use exclusive bases, considering the offers of the best European business aviation operators.
